3D Structural Modelling
With ICE’s CAD facilities and dedicated staff, we offer structural 3D modelling services. 3D modelling allows better structure and part visualization and helps our customers convey their design concepts.
Using engineer and architect drawings we develop 3D models of structural and jobbing projects utilising Tekla Structures by Trimble, Solidworks and Inventor. This typically includes the overall structure, structural members, associated connections, and other details.
From our 3D model we produce shop drawings for manufacture and assembly drawings for installation. We also manufacture and install using drawings and specification provided by our customers.
If structural or civil engineering is required, we can arrange this through our partner businesses.
