Beam Camber Machine

“Cambering” involves applying a subtle and permanent curve or bend to a structural steel beam. Cambering plays a key role in negating the impact of heavy loads upon a particular piece of structural steel. A cambered beam can tolerate greater weights more effectively, especially over extended spans.

We constructed our own custom beam cambering machine in-house. It was specially designed to induce permanent camber into wide flange and channel. Our machine was designed for ease and speed of operation and repeatable performance. It is totally self-contained so that it may be moved and stored when not in use.
