Structural Fabrication
ICE Engineering provides quality fabricated items to the Building, Mining, Infrastructure, Water and Food industries.
Structural steel has proved over the years to be one of the most important materials in the construction industry. For large-scale structures like high-rise buildings and bridges, to small-scale structures like residential and institutional buildings, structural steel is likely to be used. Structural steel forms the backbone for most of the structures being built in Australia.
ICE Engineering have successfully fabricated and installed hundreds of structural steel packages for Commercial, Industrial and Mining projects. These range from small-scale to large 1,500 tonne projects. Structural projects are managed by an experienced team with fabrication carried out in our dedicated workshop. All fabrication work takes place inhouse in our own workshop. This includes: beam and plate processing, cambering, welding, surface preparation and treatment*.
*Galvanising is carried out off-site at one of our partner companies.
